This course is intended to develop the skills required to work safely with hand and power tools

Who is this course for?

This course is designed to comply with the legislative requirements of persons involved in the safe use and care of hand held tools and power tools within a working environment, as required under Health & Safety legislation, PUWER etc.

Course outline:

  • Health and Safety Legislation
  • Identify and safely use a range of hand and power tools
  • The risks and hazards of working with hand and power tools
  • Carry our basic engineering tasks
  • The importance of pre and post use checks
  • Workshop practice tasks
  • Practical exercises of hand and power tools

Course Duration:

Two Days

Costs:

£400 + VAT per person

* Organisations associated with ECITB may be eligible to apply for grant funding

* This course must have 4 delegates to run. Maximum of 8 people per course

* With Sufficient numbers, this can be run upon request at a client’s premises, at times and dates to suit client
