Engineering College to celebrate Apprenticeship Achievement

Every year, our team celebrate student success with an Awards Ceremony, to recognise milestones of an apprenticeship. This event is well attended by Guest Speakers, students, employers, and key supporters of the college and traditionally held on site at the Engineering College campus.

A new development for 2019, (to close out celebrations for our 20th Anniversary) this event will also recognise a number of students who have achieved their apprenticeship in the last academic year for their overall commitment to their career.

This year 13 awards will be presented in the following categories:

STEM Student of the Year
Pre Apprenticeship Student of the Year
ITEC Student of the Year
Foundation Stage Award
Development Stage Award
Further Development Stage Award
HNC Student of the Year
ECITB Apprentice of the Year
Cammell Laird Apprentice of the Year
TWI ‘Welder of the Year’
IMECHE ‘Most Approved Apprentice’
IMarEST ‘Apprentice of the Year’
Contribution to Engineering Award

Our team are looking forward to hosting the event in a new venue this year at Civic Hall, Wallasey Town Hall on Thursday 24th October with support from key confirmed sponsors, TWI, IMECHE and IMarEST.
