On Thursday 02nd February, The Engineering College celebrated ‘Time to Talk’ day, raising awareness of some common Mental Health issues.
One in four of us will experience a mental health problem every year.
But too many people with mental health problems are made to feel worthless or isolated. The way you act towards someone with a mental illness can change their life: by opening up to mental health you can make a real difference.
This Thursday, we’re ‘painting’ the building green with posters and info-graphics to raise awareness of these problems and the stigma behind Mental Health! Mental Health covers problems like anxiety, bipolar, depression, OCD, schizophrenia and eating disorders.
