The skills and knowledge in one or more of a wide variety of engineering manufacturing activities, which includes; research, design, new product development and introduction, engineering and manufacture.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Individuals must meet the following requirements to be accepted onto a Higher Apprenticeship:
• BTEC National Certificate / Diploma in an engineering discipline (course entry may also be gained on completing City & Guilds Level 3 Craft programme, or completing the Bridging unit 331 in Advanced Maths and Science)
• GCSE The Engineering College National Certificate / Diploma in an engineering discipline (course entry may also be gained on completing City & Guilds Level 3 Craft programme, or completing the Bridging unit 331 in Advanced Maths and Science)
• Subject to suitability of job role to sustain an NVQ Level 4 qualification
